Prawn Mee

Craving for prawn mee (noodles)? Here I show you the REAL prawn mee...homemade, hygiene, tasty and lots lots lots of prawn.

I love to use banana prawn for this delicious food. The key ingredients in my prawn mee are dried shrimps, dried anchovies (smallest size), and chili paste and a pinch of salt. Ground well both dried shrimps and anchovies, blend together with chili paste, garlic and anion (more are better-to give a pungent and sweet taste also to increase the viscosity of the gravy). Saute all the ingredients with vegetable oils and add enough water. Add the prawn just few minutes before off the burner.

Pour the gravy onto the mee that already soak in hot water. Add raw pak choy, sprinkle with minced spring anion, and fried shallot. Wallah! This is prawn mee that I you will cry for....Ermm ho liaw!

* No enough time to prepare the ingredients? No worries, Tean's Gourmet Prawn mee paste is the perfect alternative.
